Troop 600B is an all-male Troop of Servant Leaders that meets and camps year-round. The Troop is open to youth ages 11 through 17.
Girls in the same age range interested in joining a Scouts BSA unit should contact the Scoutmaster of all-female Troop 219G at email@example.com.
Boys and girls kindergarten through 5th grade can join a co-ed Pack (with single gender dens). Pack 600 can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To participate in a Sea Scout Ship (co-ed for youth ages 14 through 20) to learn to sail and SCUBA, please contact the Skipper at email@example.com.
Troop 600B is a "high adventure" Troop. We attend Philmont Scout Reservation every other year. We are sending two crews to Philmont in June 2023. Last year, we sent two crews. Alternate years, our Scouts attend National Jamborees, World Jamborees, and other High Adventure Bases. We sent two crews to Florida Sea Base this summer and are sending Scouts to the National Jamboree in 2023.
As a Troop of Servant Leaders, we believe we should serve also those within our Troop - with respect and with dignity. We have two Patrols of Scouts on the Autism spectrum supported by four dedicated Assistant Scoutmasters, one of whom is an Eagle Scout and on the spectrum. We also have Scouts "mainstreamed" who have visual, physical, and dietary differences. The most unique aspect of our Troop that we are the proudest of is that every Scout family believes "Scouting is for all!"
E-mail us for more information about participation if you are registered now with another unit or about membership if you are new to Scouting - firstname.lastname@example.org.
